The Andhra Pradesh government has introduced a system of village and ward secretariats which is unprecedented in the country. The chief minister of the state Shri YS Jagan Mohan Reddy initiated this secretariat system with the main intention that corruption and discrimination should not be allowed and that the administration should be closer to the people. About 500 services related to 35 government departments are available in village and ward secretariats.

Want pension..want ration card..want house tracks..want water supply problem..want civil works..but medical..but health..but revenue..but land survey..but child welfare..but dairy , Poultry sector services, etc., the problem is resolved within 72 hours of applying in the village secretariats.

There will be no more problem of any deserving person suffering from not getting the benefits of government welfare. The aim of this government is to see a smile on the face of every poor person. People should make good use of these village secretariats set up for the people. This is the government of the people! Public welfare is the goal of this government!!
